A Message from the Founder,
In 2011, we celebrate our first anniversary with our trusted partners in Eco Commerce in making a positive difference by ‘Turning Challenges into Opportunities’. As we look to the future, there are many new goals to achieve before we have gained the momentum to be the driving force we set out to create.
The Chamber of Eco Commerce was established in 2010, with a group of Eco Commerce business leaders in North America, Europe, and China. Our mission is to connect individuals, companies, and organizations across borders and industries in developed and developing countries. We create and manage initiatives and projects. Our Preferred Service Providers (PSP), local chapter leaders and volunteers serve the specific needs of our stakeholders worldwide.
With over 30 years involvement in international ET working groups, and while living in various communities in 15 countries across continents, I have learned that Eco Commerce has not been properly addressed and financed. In short, the eco innovators and SMEs are under-served. Access to finance is essential for the start up and growth of business in general and particularly the development and successful implementation of eco innovation worldwide. There are many challenges faced by financial actors and small to medium sized enterprises (SMEs) in this domain. As a result, our group is focused to fill this gap. Our core focus is to bring together private enterprises, business intermediaries, and financial partners in Eco Commerce. I believe that there are tremendous opportunities in providing this service. While hile attending local technology working groups across all continents, I have personally observed what a group of committed individuals can do! I am confident with the right tools in place this effort will grow exponentially.
Today, new projects and initiatives are being developed to open opportunities to all CEC stakeholders around the world. We invite You to join us in insuring that our goals will become a reality. Every individual and organization can help. We hope that you are determined to carry our Eco Commerce message to your local community. So please join our sustainable innovation movement today. Ask how you can become our Preferred Service Provider, Chapter Leader, A Member of Advisory Board, or Volunteer in your local CEC Chapter.
On behalf of CEC, THANK YOU for your interest and support.
Sincerely,
Minna LeVine
